PTA in Pennsylvania
This publication contains periodic training articles, articles from our consultants, and other timely information to make your job as a PTA Leader a bit more manageable.

It is prepared six times a year: September, November, January (Call to Convention issue), March, May and July.  It will also contain a listing of new information posted on the website.

The Advocate
Periodic e-alerts are sent by the Pennsylvania PTA's Legislation & Advocacy Chair. The Advocate will contain legislative updates and the latest on hot topics in legislation that affect children.

 

 

Presidents Mailing

In months when the PTA in Pennsylvania is not published, the state president uses this mailing to stay in touch with local and council presidents.  This mailing will contain a list of new items put on the Members Only-President’s Mailing section of the website, which can be accessed by all their members.  Topics include timely information on programs, leadership training, resources, membership, deadlines, and what's happening at the state and local levels.

Pennsylvania PTA is Going Green!

As part of our ongoing goal to reach ALL members, Pennsylvania PTA’s publications will be available in the Members Only Section of the website.

 

Historically, hard copies of these publications are mailed to local unit and council presidents. It is the president’s responsibility to share the information with their unit’s members. Inclusion of this information on the website now makes it available to ALL members, not just the presidents and PTA board members.
